The staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the bar was GREAT. It was reasonably priced TOO. The hotel and bar area looked clean and comfy.

There were very steep narrow stairs to my room. There was no hot water from the tap in the bathroom sink. The small mirror above the sink was TOO high.

The food tasted great. Staff members were very friendly and cute. I chose to have dinner at the pub after checking in. I also booked breakfast for the following day. The food on both occasions was very nice and cooked from scratch.

The hot water and showers were a bit temperamental. I mentioned that they sorted this. The bathroom had a broken tap, it wobbled when turning. I can see that it was mentioned about six months ago in another review.

The location is very central and convenient. It is in great countryside. I found shops and restaurants within walking distance. The pub provides a very nice, cosy atmosphere and appearance.

Fantastic Stay with Great Food!

The staff was friendly and cute. The room was clean and very tidy, including a very comfortable bed. I enjoyed a superb evening meal and the best breakfast I have had in years (the presentation was excellent!). I will stay again when I am in the area.

The stairs to my room were quite steep and narrow.
