the western breakfast options were excellent the double bed had great width and length i thoroughly enjoyed the getaway offer. staff service was excellent throughout my stay in all areas i appreciated the soundproof rooms. the location is very central but it still felt peaceful.

The hotel sits right next to main nightlife spots. The hotel has other shopping streets. The bed was very soft, unusual for hotels in Japan. I did love that the hotel was very quiet even if it's on a lively street.

I must say that the gym has only two treadmills. The gym provides no other equipment. I did expect free weights at least.

convenient transporthistorical streetamazing view

the location is amazing, food and drink options are plentiful right nearby. public transport is also convenient, and gion's historic streets are just steps away.. plus, the covered shopping district is a short walk. the top-floor reception and bar has an amazing view. i could spend hours there. the retreat room is so much fun, i didn't want to leave.

there was no one available to assist with luggage upon arrival, it's a minor inconvenience.
