Acceptable Stay, but Some Issues

abrupt waitress unpleasant experience
The location was great for exploring the main street.
The breakfast waitress had a very abrupt attitude. She insisted we should have ordered juice, yogurt, and cereal the night before and accused me of having an attitude when we said we were not informed about this. This.

limited selection vegetarian options
The single malt selection at the bar was surprisingly limited. I expected a wider array. the room service menu also lacked vegetarian options beyond a simple salad. i found this unacceptable considering current dietary trends. these shortcomings affected my stay negatively.

The cooked breakfast was tasty and satisfying.
The wifi was non-existent, a real problem for planning my day trips. The DOUBLE room bath or walk shower, while clean, had a mattress, THAT felt old and lumpy were good.

Staff Problems and Uncomfortable Bed

uncomfortable bed irritated waitress
The breakfast service was AWFUL. The waitress seemed annoyed to take our order and was visibly irritated when we asked about options. The bed was also quite uncomfortable. I could feel the springs. This made it difficult to get a good night's sleep after a long day.
