The staff were cute. Bedrooms were really comfortable. We wanted somewhere where we could take our dog and not feel like she was in the way. We got a doggy goody pack and a table in the bar for dinner.

Our final bill was a little higher than the listed price! The discrepancy between the menu price and the bill was small though. Reception was unapologetic. Toast and bakery items were missing during Saturday breakfast.

the breakfast included continental and full cooked options which was acceptable.

i was quite dissapointed in the shower it only produced a light trickle of water and i found dog hair on my suitcase after i put it on the floor. the television also kept turning itself off and showing a blank screen whenever i selected any apps. i think the quality did not match the price i paid per night.

The Classic Double room was super clean. It had everything one could need, good biscuits included. I especially enjoyed the three-course meal. The chef offered flexibility with vegetarian and halal options (this was a real plus!). The location is quite lovely. It is also convenient for accessing motorways and other parts of the area.

The skirting boards were quite filthy. This was noticeable upon arrival.
