wide range excellent choice helpful staff
The breakfast had a wide range of excellent choices I liked its location for visiting the South Coast beaches. Christchurch is nearby. The staff are helpful.

clean room comfortable beds friendly manageress
the twin room was clean it had pleasant decoration. beds were comfortable the bathroom was clean too with plenty of hot water. breakfast included sourdough toast it came with proper butter. i had a lovely chat with amanda the manageress she was very friendly and informative.
the restaurant menu was expensive it also had too many spicy dishes.

The breakfast selection was very good. Everything was cooked to order. The staff was pleasant. I also found parking quite easy.
My TV signal was poor. The room was noisy from traffic outside. I think the room was quite small.

unreliable wifi persistent issue
The WiFi was down , which caused significant problems. I needed to send some large files (project deliverables) and could not do so. The staff informed me the issue had persisted for days. This lack of internet access impacted my ability to work effectively from the room, (I had to use a coffee shop for internet), .

a romantic getaway
friendly staff excellent facilities ground coffee fresh milk
the staff were friendly and helpful. our room had excellent facilities with lovely ground coffee (i loved the little touches). the toiletries were of good quality. the hotel provided fresh milk to make teas and coffees in our room, great as we had an early start.
the room was a bit too warm for my taste.
