my room's electronic key needed updated daily. i could not access the room when returning. various reasons were given for this problem. the system for the keys had to be updated daily, i think this is too much.

Satisfactory stay

central locationcomfortable bedroad noise
The hotel's location is central and very convenient. Staff members were friendly. The restaurant offered a good selection of food. The size of my room was good, including a comfortable bed.
The road facing rooms suffered from noise due to the lack of double glazing. This impacted the quality of sleep, especially with windows open on warmer nights. I think double glazing is needed.

Fantastic wedding venue!

amazing foodcomfy bedsuper clean room
Our son recently held his wedding and reception. It was FANTASTIC!!! The level of service and food were amazing. Several family members stayed the night, too, and the rooms were spotlessly clean. Super comfy beds were also a GREAT touch. I can't thank the staff enough.
I found a slight disconnect between what was offered online and what the hotel initially stated regarding breakfast inclusions.

my room, a classic twin room non-smoking, was clean. staff answered my questions with smiles. i enjoyed the location close to shops.
The road outside was a bit noisy. my room faced the front, and the windows weren't doubled. i found the breakfast offer stingy. Cooked breakfast cost extra.

a very GOOD hotel

excellent locationspacious roomroom facilities
the LOCATION proves excellent, walking distance to town center exists. Facilities in room included everything I needed. The room size was spacious. Breakfast OPTIONS included a large variety.
The town clock strikes loudly. It might annoy light sleepers.
Service
9/10
The staff was very friendly. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. Staff are a credit to the hotel, and. I would book again.
Location
8/10
This LOCATION provided walking distance to the train station. Proximity to the town center involved only a few meters. Accessing all the buses in the street became very practical. Everything is close.
Dining
9/10
Breakfast tasted lovely. It offers a very good selection. My meal in the restaurant, on friday night, tasted delicious. The restaurant was nearly full on a tuesday night which speaks volumes.
