The hotel was very clean throughout my stay. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. I particularly enjoyed the food, though smaller portions could suit some guests. I would definitely consider returning for another visit.
The pillows were too hard for my preference, impacting my sleep quality a bit.

The bar area had log fires burning. the room was very peaceful and super clean. i slept very well because the room was nice and dark. the breakfast lady was lovely and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
there was no view, no bath, and a noisy fan all night. also , the pillows were really hard.
