Adequate Stay, Some Issues

great beer fantastic food family friendly cute log extra charge impersonal service pub favorite

The pub boasts great beer and fantastic food. It seems family friendly. The log fires are cute to the guests. A good mix of pub classics and restaurant food is available.

The steak pie lacked vegetables, i think. Vegetables were an extra charge. Service felt somewhat impersonal, so i believe staff didn't ask if everything was satisfactory. They need to serve pub favorites with a bowl of vegetables.

a pleasurable experience!

massive facelift comfortable chair pleasurable experience

i booked sunday lunch today and i was suitably impressed with the massive facelift the interior received. the decor is very tasteful. new tables and very comfortable dining chairs were there. the experience was pleasurable.

i have read of warm welcomes. the response from the staff member was cold. i felt very unwelcome and do not know why.

The double room had ample space for luggage. it also featured a modern bathroom with complimentary toiletries. fresh towels were supplied daily. AMAZING!!!
