my room was comfortable, i stayed in the pheasant king room. the food stood out, especially the special vegan menu created by the chef. the staff helped me choose the most scenic walk to the nearby village.

the soap bottles in the room did not work very well, a slight inconvenience.

i enjoyed the quiet location, a short walk from grassington. the staff were very helpful and friendly, which i appreciated. the venison dish for dinner was especially good. the french wine selection also impressed me.

the breakfast coffee was not to my personal taste.

The room seemed a bit dated. the decor seemed like it needed an update. breakfast lacked some options. Simple jam wasn't even available. the soap dispensers in the bathroom didn't work properly. we loved the venison pie but the chips were not so good.
