a solid stay overall
spacious room fresh juice helpful service food quality additional charge excessive price
The room was quite spacious and i appreciated that it had both a bath and a shower. the breakfast impressed me. I especially enjoyed the fresh orange juice provided in a bottle. the customer service stood out as attentive and helpful.
i noticed the food quality was not great for the price. my wife's request to exchange peas for a salad garnish with her fish and chips incurred an additional charge. that seemed a bit excessive on our travels.

adequate stay with SOME ISSUES
locked thermostat inflexible service
the room temperature was too high and i could not adjust it as the thermostat was locked i found this unacceptable also, the breakfast service did not meet expectations i requested wholemeal bread and the waitress seemed unable to accommodate this simple request i was offered a gluten-free alternative instead, which i did not want or need this level of inflexibility is rather disappointing.

Average Stay with a Few Issues
The location allowed for direct access to nearby walks.
The breakfast REALLY disappointed me. I asked for wholemeal bread because of a stomach issue, but the waitress acted like it was impossible. She offered gluten-free bread instead, which I did not want or need. I JUST wanted wholemeal toast.
