Reviews and Ratings
Feedback about The Peacock At Rowsley Hotel from previous guests about their experience.
The staff was helpful. One receptionist provided a walking route. The hotel had historical paintings and antique furniture. It was fascinating. I appreciated oat milk at breakfast. The lady at breakfast spoke about the Isles of Scilly.
The bathroom was small. The room needed updating. The light in the bedroom was inadequate. It hid the room's shabby appearance. The hotel felt more like a pub with rooms.

The restaurant food was great, especially the home-smoked salmon. It tasted fantastic. breakfast included perfectly prepared poached eggs. however, the sourdough served with the eggs seemed quite thick. the quality of the food fully met my expectations.
the staff were so friendly and helpful. the gardens were very nice and well kept. the breakfast was REALLY good, setting me up perfectly for the day.
i noticed that the bathroom was not as clean as i expected. this was a bit disappointing. i hope they can improve this area.
