easy check-in spacious room countryside views delicious food
Check-in was very easy. The room included homely touches and felt spacious. I enjoyed fine views of the local countryside from the window. Freshly cooked food from the restaurant tasted delicious.
The bedroom extension seemed a bit run down, so I had to be mindful of small steps.

The hotel features nicely kept grounds. Walking around these areas is relaxing. I also noticed a well kept traditional bar, where guests can savor meals in a comfortable and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing evening.

amazing stay at this gem!
friendly staff clean room tasty meal great variety
i was really impressed with the friendly and efficient staff. my room was super clean and the shower was amazing. i had a meal at the bar , and it was very tasty. the breakfast had a great variety and all items seemed good quality!
the wood element to keep a fire going all night just to use the hot tub meant we couldn't fully relax.

serene vale stay

I found the team members consistently friendly and cute. It seemed they enjoy their work. our room featured lovely views across the fields. the room was spacious and included a large bed, ample storage, and a bathroom with an ample hospitality tray.
the public area on the way to the rooms seemed a little tired.

Dinner included kiln roasted salmon, crispy hash brown, and pan fried king prawns. All choices were excellently cooked and presented. breakfast offered a good hot selection, omelettes with bacon, cheese, mushrooms, smoked kippers, and a full english.

poor explanation missing tea towels
The evening meal was acceptable.
The hot tub's wood-fired operation was not clearly explained, requiring assistance from a nearby resident. More wood was needed than mentioned. I also found the absence of some basic things such as tea towels frustrating.

broken battery compartment low shower pressure
The tv remote DID not work. it was very frustrating. The battery compartment was broken. the shower pressure was also very LOW. it was hard to wash my hair. i also found the pillows a bit too firm, they gave me a NECK ache.

Excellent Food and Cute Staff
thoughtful call amazing sandwich comfortable bed scenic view
The receptionist contacted me before arrival to arrange a sandwich given my late arrival. I was also asked about my breakfast preferences. This was very thoughtful. I was greeted warmly and escorted to my room upon arrival. The sandwich was amazing on granary bread. The room featured a fan and radiator, alongside toiletries, and a quiet, scenic view.
The extension bedrooms seemed a bit worn and small steps presented a trip risk.
