Acceptable Stay, Some Issues

sharp tonehostile employee
I found an issue with one staff member at the bar. Lisa, with the short light hair, seemed to have a real attitude problem. I could not tell if it was because I am not a local, but her tone was sharp. Her behavior really needs to change (or maybe she needs a different job).

lovely stay

onsite parkingcomfortable bedenglish breakfast
I stayed for a few nights. The car park on site was very helpful. i found the superior double room spacious, it included a comfortable bed. breakfast included a full english option, a very good start to my day.
the bathroom, while functional, looked a little dated.
Dining
9/10
the restaurant had a menu, it offered plenty of choice. the full english breakfast included good quality ingredients, such as locally sourced sausages. the bar provided a range of drinks, that included local ales.
Location
9/10
The location was quiet, and it's setting was ideal for a break. rutland water was only a short drive away. It presented opportunities for walking. local places of interest were easily accessible, it made exploring the area easy.
Facilities
9/10
the inn had a car park. wifi access was available and it worked well. a beer garden provided additional space, though it was too chilly to use , and the pub exuded a cute feel.
