The breakfast offered a good full English with any variation desired. The breakfast area was nicely displayed in a bright dining room. The staff provided helpful suggestions for little cafes along my day's route.

I thought the shower temperature was inconsistent. The water pressure in the sink was quite low. The television remote did not have batteries.

my room was ready early, which allowed me to drop off my bags before exploring. the staff was lovely at breakfast. the location felt very convenient for accessing local attractions and the nearby railway walk was a great find. i appreciated the excellent bus service to other parts of the island.

i did notice the cobbled road leading up to the place IS slightly steep, but manageable.

the rooms are well presented, complete with high ceilings that add to the airy feel. there are tea and coffee facilities available in each room which i found very useful. many rooms offer fabulous views of the bay from large windows.

the hotel is situated on a quiet, cobbled street. it overlooks the bay, so you have superb views from the terrace. the harbour, where you can find numerous restaurants, is a short walk away.

The staff are friendly and obliging. They create a cute atmosphere. they are very helpful with information about the island and transport options. when i arrived, they helped me with my luggage.

the hotel sits on a historic, cobbled road, a detail i found appealing. i appreciated the view across the beach and harbour, especially during sunset. accessing public transport to st helier and the airport was straightforward. breakfast service was prompt and the food tasted freshly cooked.
