Friendly staff offered ample on site parking.
I was really disappointed. Our room had several issues. The shower temperature fluctuated wildly, going from scalding hot to cold without warning. This made it hard to have a relaxing shower.

Really good Dining and Pristine Rooms

generous portionsprofessional staffsunday lunch
the food was superb, with generous portions. my mushroom tagliatelle was perfectly cooked. the staff were smart, professional, and attentive. i booked to return for sunday lunch.
breakfast service was slow. the full english had sausage, hash, and black pudding, none of which were good quality. it was very disappointing.

fresh towelscomfy bed
I enjoyed the fresh towels both days. I did not expect this as I only stayed two nights. The hot drink sachets and hairdryer were excellent. I really liked the comfy bed and pillows. I found superb things in the room.
I did have a slight issue with the roller blind in the bathroom. It was non-functional.

immaculate groundsvery good breakfastsmaller food portionsreduced meal quality
the grounds were immaculate. the hotel is beautiful and picture postcard perfect. the breakfast was first class and super fast! emma and sharon met us at check in, and they were wonderful.
the food portions seemed smaller! my friend's main course did not cover the middle of the plate. the meal's quality was significantly less, yet the price increased. staff knew nothing about the birthday, even though we had informed them ahead of time.
