the staff was attentive and friendly. i walked up through the water gardens along the river after breakfast. the handsome landscaped gardens included lawns and a putting green.

the room size was small. the beds were also very soft , too soft for me. the diner portions were tiny , especially the starters , but bread and butter were amazing.
