Charming Stay

delicious breakfast great attention surprise wine
The breakfast was superb. I saw fresh yogurt alongside granola, and also poached eggs. Mathilde and the chef ensured alternatives existed for those with dietary needs. I was impressed by the attention to detail, even with surprise wine during my spa visit.
The car park was a bit of a walk with luggage. I also noted that the hotel door remains locked and requires a code for entry, but I did not receive the code in advance.

The hotel is centrally located, near shops, restaurants and cafés. It offered lovely views to those who enjoyed the rooftop breakfast. The area provided a quiet retreat.
Service

some serious drawbacks overshadowed the stay

narrow stairs inadequate soap
The staff proved friendly and cute. It was the high point.
The room access was a real problem. Three flights of narrow stairs were necessary. i also found the lack of a separate bathroom unsettling. The bathtub sat right in the room. the toilet felt claustrophobic and tiny. simple things like adequate soap were missing, frustrating.
