the restaurant was nice. i had some of the best food on my travels. i am celiac so i appreciated plenty of options for gluten free. the grilled courgette and seabass were delicious.

the facilities felt limited upon arrival. i was told there was no bar. there was also no room service available. this meant no drinks except the complimentary water and small wine bottle.

the staff was wonderful and they accommodates my needs. the hotel has history and is beautiful. it was peaceful and relaxing, it is a hotel i would return too.

the parkings area was too small for all autos.

The grounds are extensive, but the upkeep seemed wanting. the park, with its woods, looked neglected. breakfast service felt disorganized and slow. the staff seemed overwhelmed. This affected the overall breakfast experience.
