excellent village stay!

comfy bed generous portions tasty food
the rooms are done to a high standard, i found the decoration lovely and the bed very comfy. the restaurant had generous portions and tasty food for both dinner and breakfast. the chef even brought breakfast for the dog!
the roman blind at the bedroom window malfunctions and needs attention. it raises and lowers very lopsidedly. i think halfway up it looks dreadful.
Facilities
9/10
car parking is available on site, a bonus. the location is handy for snowdon and the village itself is good for walking. this makes accessing local amenities easy.
Service
10/10
the staff provided a really friendly welcome so i immediately felt comfortable. generous portions and tasty food was served in the restaurant. nothing was too much trouble, and the chef was especially accommodating.

Charming stay in Snowdonia

quiet road good room size helpful staff
The location was superb on a quiet road. It was near the center of Snowdonia. The room had a good size. The staff booked a dinner table at a local pub for us (i appreciated it!).
The parking lot filled up quickly, so it was challenging to find a space. This was inconvenient, especially after a long day.
Location
9/10
The hotel sits centrally, close to various attractions, and is easily accessible. It has excellent proximity to village shops and scenic walking routes, allowing guests to explore the area. Views from the hotel are excellent.
Dining
8/10
The inn features a gastro-pub that provides a range of food options for lunch and dinner. Breakfast had good options. Sunday roast was excellent but was good.

quality towels delicious meal
My room was a beautiful room. the top-quality towels felt amazing after my hikes. the breakfast was also great. i could request anything i wanted. it reminded me of a home-cooked meal, we loved that it had no menu. But the taste was delicious!
the parking lot behind the building only fits about nine cars, which i found a bit limited.

the breakfast service was disappointing. when i arrived, the staff member did not acknowledge me. i was ignored for over 20 minutes before i had to ask to be served. it took over an hour before i actually ate, and there was no apology for the wait.
