Acceptable Stay with Noticeable Room Issues
worn furniture poor ventilation
The location was easily accessible and the breakfast was adequate.
I found the room to be underwhelming and somewhat disappointing. The furniture seemed old and worn (I even noticed some stains). the bathroom lacked proper ventilation, feel damp and musty. These issues detracted from the overall experience.

the staff were friendly and helpful. breakfast offered a great variety of options, and i particularly enjoyed the full english. the quality of the beer was as expected from a butcombe pub, consistently good with varied drink selections. free parking was available making arrival smooth.
the wait time for drinks one evening was a bit longer than expected.
