i found the staff friendly and helpful they acknowledged our anniversary which was a lovely touch. the social hour downstairs had a nice atmosphere with super friendly staff. we ate in the restaurant and the food was great i experienced really good kindness.

the room needed attention i saw peeling paint in the bathroom and the grout was dirty. i also heard noise from the toilet system of the room above it was a little disappointing given the price.

I noticed the building had a convenient location. The room had nice facilities. The staff at reception was helpful. I also found the decoration interesting. Yvette at reception WAS so kind and polite. I ate in the Baba Restaurant and food was AMAZING. The breakfast was also really nice. Bar tenders were also great.

The room needed tlc. I noticed peeling paint in the bathroom. Screws were not screwed in on radiator SO i hurt my hands on them. I also saw dirty grout. Windows for rooms at the back benefit from a third glazing option, THAT could slide open and closed AS needed. The outside pub was loud and delivery drivers too.

The location was central. It was easy to walk to various places.

the bathroom shower spontaneously started running in the middle of the night. i could not sleep and had to be moved to another room with a defective shower screen, made exiting the shower difficult. i also saw mold on the floor and floorboards. it appears it is a long-standing issue.

the mattress was way too firm. i could have slept on the floor. and it would not have been different. i complained. the hotel tried to fix it with pillow tops. and duvet covers, but it barely helped. this made it hard to sleep well. it was the worst mattress i have ever experienced in a hotel
