the architecture presents elegant design that ensures guest comfort. i noticed the staff was very helpful during check-in (a smooth process). my room included distinct sinks alongside a rainfall shower.
the minibar pricing felt somewhat elevated.

Really good Stay in a Historic Setting

The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The historic building is amazing. The breakfast offered a great choice of items. The grand dining area provided a special, nice experience. I found the service polite. Check-in was efficient and quick. I appreciated the staff accommodating my room request immediately. The concierge staff proved very helpful with directions.
The hotel is a bit far from the city center. This requires relying on taxis for transportation.

the breakfast was diverse and delicious..
the gym equipment looked quite old and in need of either replacement or serious maintenance. it definitely detracted from the overall experience. i expected better equipment for the price point the hotel charges.

The breakfast had various options, including fresh fruits and pastries. The room was spacious and clean. The pool area was well kept with many loungers available.
Some days, the room service did not replace used coffee cups and coffee pods. This meant I had to call downstairs to request some for the morning.

faulty air conditioning missing amenities
The breakfast buffet had a good spread of choices that were acceptable.
I had several issues . The air conditioning in my room did not work effectively. Some days, housekeeping did not replace wash cloths or hand towels. There was also no hand soap provided, despite several requests.
