Afternoon tea was a good experience. The scones were so light. I thought the homemade jam was particularly nice. The sandwiches were lovely too. I asked for a sandwich change and the staff accommodated it.
My room had an awful smell. I could not leave the door open. It led to a deck people transited by. The furniture felt dated. This did not resemble a 4-star hotel. I found it expensive for what it offered.

Solid Choice for Cornwall Exploration

attentive staffgreat breakfastrelaxation areasofa upgrade
The staff helped so much and remained attentive. I really enjoyed a great breakfast and a relaxation area was provided. The sofas could use an upgrade, because seating was flat and hard to stand up from. I did feel consideration were really good.
The room got so hot. I could barely access the bed from one side. The windows only opened about three inches which did not help. I ended up opening the door to get some air.
Facilities

The hotel has a lovely pool, and I enjoyed using the gym too. The hotel had great art work around the hotel that i liked. Good parking exists here so I did not need to search for a parking spot.
Service

Every staff member seems friendly and helpful, this feels very important. I saw them being attentive when a group was seated near us. Staff asked if we prefered a different table, and we accepted a quieter place.
