Acceptable location, disappointing room

small window basic breakfast

the hotel is located in a quieter area and near a water taxi stop.

The room i was assigned was not the same as the photos online. the window was small and faced another building so there was little sunlight. breakfast was basic. Tables were not cleaned regularly, attracting birds when dining outside.

clean rooms great location helpful staff thoughtful gesture

i was thankful for the location, removed from crowds, allowing quick access to st mark's square. i found the rooms spotlessly clean and well-kept. the staff was helpful with taxi arrangements, tour bookings, and recommendations for dining. i appreciated the thoughtful gesture of breakfast bags prepared for our early departure at 3:30 am.

Breakfast included a continental selection with fresh pastries, fruit, cereal, ham and cheeses. hot breakfast options were available for an additional charge. the restaurant provided amazing meals. I felt it was the best during my trip.

I was pretty bummed about a few things . the breakfast was quite basic. I was hoping for more variety, especially considering the price. also, the room i had was smaller than i expected, it was hard to move around comfortably. it just didn't quite match up to the overall impression of the hotel.

the breakfast selection included everything i needed. the staff was friendly and helpful, providing quick check-in.

My room faced a wall. The view was not ideal. i also noticed peeling paint in the stairwell.
