fantastic stay

modern hotel useful amenities comfortable rooms

the hotel had many amenities including restaurants, coffee shops and a convenience store. the rooms were neat and comfortable. i found everything modern and practical (especially the water machine).

the check-in staff seemed a little unwelcoming.

the breakfast offered a good variety of fresh dishes to choose from. there were multiple restaurants downstairs. i thought these restaurants gave a good sampling of the local cuisine.

quality speaker system large soaking tub variety of treats

i found the speaker system in the room to be of high quality. a large soaking tub provided a relaxing experience after long days. i also appreciated the pastry shop located in the basement offering a variety of tasty treats.

I had to pay extra to access the swimming pool. It was unexpected. this seemed unusual considering the hotel's five-star rating. this policy detracted from the overall experience.

The breakfast buffet offered a broad selection of both european and korean dishes. the cleo restaurant had beautiful décor. The food and drinks were also fantastic. the pastry shop in the basement had a good variety of pastries.

the spa area on the first floor includes a well-equipped gym. the hotel has several instagramable photo spots within the premises. the indoor pool is well maintained, though access required an additional fee.

The hotel is not within walking distance to the subway station. buses to myeongdong and gangnam are available. its CENTRAL location made it easy to access various parts of the city. itaewon offers MANY opportunities for exploration.

see through walls broken air conditioning

the gym had good equipment i think.

the air conditioning wasn't working. it was pretty warm in my room. i also didn't like the see through walls in the bathroom. it's not very private, really.
