lovely stay
dog walkinggreat staffwarm environmentbuilding atmosphere
the location provided very good dog walking within a hundred yards. the staff provided great care and attention. the historic building had a warm environment. the building's atmosphere felt more comfortable than modern hotels that seem like clinics.
i phoned to make a reservation and asked for a quiet room. i was not informed of a fan running below the room all night.

the hotel is set in very peaceful grounds. the setting allows for quiet walks and is easily accessible from the main roads, it is a definite plus.

staff arranged an early check-in. the staff offered tea and coffee facilities in the room, a thoughtful touch. the breakfast service provided a wide selection, and the hot food was cooked fresh. it was good.

i found the breakfast selection extensive.. with many options. The dining room provided a nostalgic atmosphere and featured local produce for breakfast. i found my standard double room spacious and light.
The shower in my room offered only a trickle of water. This made it difficult to have a proper shower. I would have expected better water pressure.

the staff were friendly and dedicated, they aimed to. Receptionists were helpful in answering questions, providing directions to local attractions, and they offered assistance throughout my stay. Their polite professionalism enhanced the overall experience.
