mixed feelings about this stay
open balcony terrible window
The breakfast was decent. I will say that much
My room faced the back and there was a bar nearby. It blasted music from its open balcony until 1 am. Then a group of guys hung out and shouted until 2:30 am. The windows did nothing to block noise so i got no sleep until almost 3 am

cramped room slow service
the room i booked, a classic twin room, was smaller than expected. it felt quite cramped, especially with two of us sharing the space. also, the breakfast service was slow. i waited almost 30 minutes for my order, and when it arrived, the toast was cold and hard. it seemed understaffed during the morning rush and i didn't appreciate starting my day feeling rushed and a bit disappointed.

Friendly Stay in Holmfirth
varied menu attentive staff scenic location
The staff were very attentive in both the restaurant and bar. Breakfast offered a varied menu and was well cooked. I attended a concert at the nearby Picturedrome. I found parking easily.
