lovely stay near herculaneum!

the staff were very cute and helpful. i was, and offered excellent local advice about things to do and see. my room had a bath and shower. the bed was huge!
the outdoor area needed lots of tlc. the surrounding area was awash with rubbish.

The hotel is set in an 18th-century villa. extensive grounds surround the hotel. It is worthy of a stroll. breakfast is included with the room and has a good selection of items. guests can sit indoors or outside in the courtyard. it is a nice start to the day.

the hotel rooms are large! i got a double room and there was loads of space to move around. breakfast was included and it had a good selection of foods. plus, the hotel had onsite parking which was so useful for me.
the hotel furniture looked old and worn. the pool was not maintained properly, like, the tiles around it were slippery! the air conditioning system wasn't turned on , made the room stuffy.

The breakfast was TRULY miserABLE. choices included a tiny white bread and toast. only one type of cheese and one of sausage were available. the coffee was thin. I have not seen so bad coffee since the fall of the Berlin wall. tables were not cleared quickly enough.

The hotel boasts excellent grounds with a very large garden. The swimming pool was a good bonus after exploring nearby attractions. The staff offered polite service and the breakfast buffet presented plenty of options. I had a balcony offering a charming view.
The gym could benefit from some minor updates.
