the staff was very helpful and friendly, offering good tips. the setting felt beautiful, especially the garden. i liked the pool area and the lemon trees surrounding it. i found plenty of parking available .

The staff was friendly at breakfast. I appreciated the attentive server who quickly remembered our drink orders.

The hotel was not up to par in some crucial areas. the lack of a pedestrian walkway to the parking area was inconvenient, especially given the steep slope. the air conditioning broke on our last night. It was a very uncomfortable experience.

The staff was lovely and helpful (a very welcome change!). The pool was a highlight. It remained quiet and peaceful. I also enjoyed a garden view room that included a nice balcony.

the hotel provided excellent service. our room was spacious and well appointed. the balcony featured views across to sorrento and capri. the hotel grounds are immaculate, including the excellent swimming pool with a poolside bar. it had views back to vesuvius!!!

the bathroom needed a small refresh.

The hotel is a little isolated. a free shuttle is available to the local railway station. from there all local attractions can be accessed easily. the hotel is near vesuvius, pompeii, and the amalfi coast.

The on-site restaurant has very nice food. it features a view of the sea, sorrento and capri. gluten free breakfast came with a hot made to order chocolate croissant. This was a nice touch!!!
