some issues observed during stay

tired room coat hangers policy

i stayed at the hotel. The room i was in seemed a bit tired. i also noticed only two coat hangers in the room. I asked for more coat hangers, but i was told it was policy not to provide more. The gardens also was very tired, a shame.

I was very grateful for the great service I received. The reception staff helped me each night when I returned. The bedrooms were good and the beds were very comfortable. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay.

fantastic getaway near box hill

complimentary parking attentive staff leisurely breakfast refreshing pool

The complimentary parking was very convenient and close to the entrance. the staff were great to our needs. They provided water and treats for our dog. our checkout time was noon, so we enjoyed a leisurely breakfast on the terrace in the sunshine. i also took a dip in the pool before leaving, so refreshing.

the soap dispensers in the bathroom were a bit too high for me to reach easily.

the room included a fridge, iron and ironing board, and tea and coffee. there was also a good selection of biscuits. the bed was very comfy. we also had a balcony with a beautiful garden view.

the hotel served breakfast between 6 am and 10 am. there was a nice choice of cereals, pastries, tea, coffee, fruit juice, yoghurts, and fresh fruit. a full english breakfast was also available, and the food was AMAZING!!!

the receptionist gave us a warm welcome. the bar staff were friendly and helpful. all hotel staff were friendly and very attentive. they ensured we had everything we needed .

this location is great for accessing box hill and the golf course. the lawned garden is beautiful and features the surrey hills area of excellent natural beauty as a backdrop. it is perfect for a hike to the box hill viewing point.
