A Nice Riverside Stay!
quiet spacespecial touchsmall room
The library offered a quiet space to read and enjoy the view. I appreciated the complimentary port decanter in my room. It added a special touch. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location was also great. It was easy to walk to many attractions.
My room felt somewhat small. There was not much room beyond the bed and a single chair. I would have appreciated more space for luggage and moving around comfortably.

The buffet breakfast featured varied options served in a green garden space. The breakfast was AMAZING!!! Regular replenishments ensured fresh choices. Pastries, tea, and coffee were available throughout the day.

the rooftop bar offered beautiful river views. breakfast included a large selection of food, even pastel de nata. the reception staff were helpful, always responsive with a smile (i loved their positive attitude!). a decanter of port wine and glasses were a welcome surprise in my room.
It felt cramped with luggage.

the hotel is situated in a quieter area, away from the generic tourist zone. i found it very walkable to the national museum of ancient art, which has some beautiful views (don't miss it!).

the breakfast choices were very nice! a wonderful spread of both continental and cooked breakfast was available. in each room was a bottle of complimentary port to savour. it was delicious.

the inn was in a quiet area. rooms were very clean. staff was very polite. the continental breakfast included a good selection of food, juices, and coffee. the hotel gave me a good night sleep, so it met my expectations.
the hotel is definitely a historic hotel. the common areas seem worn and need a refresh. i thought the air-conditioning worked just okay.
