Underwhelming stay, issues with cleanliness
disgusting towels partial refund
The location was quiet, and it was easy to reach the ferry because the bus stop was only five minutes away.
The cleanliness was a BIG issue for me. The therapist's room had towels that were DISGUSTING. I emailed the venue about it and their response was ok, but they didn't offer a partial refund until I emailed again. Then I was given only £10 off my next treatment. I am NOT spending my money there again.

Balanced Experience at Lakeside

The room had a nice view of the lake. I found the breakfast to be great. It had a mix of a full English buffet and continental options. Views from the restaurant were lovely as it overlooked the lake.
The hotel looked tired. I think the rooms need updating. The TVs were old. The entrance reminded me of a care home.

gorgeous room amazing rooms stress-free experience
We had our wedding at this venue on June 6th, 2024, and the day was beautiful!!! We stayed in the Wootton Suite the night before. It is a gorgeous room with AMAZING rooms. This also allowed us spa access, perfect! I want to thank Jess so much for how great she was throughout the entire wedding experience. I first contacted her in 2023. She was great at communicating and answering every single question I had. Jess put me at ease with how personable she was and ensured the wedding day was everything we wanted and more, keeping us both stress-free!
The dining area was starting to look a little tired around the edges.
