mixed feelings about the stay

the hotel had a secured parking. this was useful for my rental.

my check-in experience wasn't great. the front desk staff was curt and cold, not a warm welcome. the breakfast room felt dated, like it was stuck in the 80s. the coffee was also dreadful, especially considering the local coffee roasters nearby.

the location suited our needs perfectly. i found the staff courteous and attentive. breakfast included many choices.. everything tasted delicious. parking on site was very convenient for us.

during my stay, the room lacked a full-length mirror. this made dressing a bit inconvenient, especially when preparing for dinner. it is a small detail, but a practical one.

the room included tea and coffee. hot chocolate was also in the rooms. varied seating was available to eat, i saw lots of communal spaces like the library and lounge.

the bed was comfortable, but it was smaller than i am used to.
