I stayed in a balcony room overlooking the garden and heated pool. The bed and bedding were high quality. The bathroom was clean with a large walk-in shower.
I wished there had been a greater choice at the evening in the restaurant. The lunch on arrival was the best meal, but the breakfast was just acceptable. The staff were pleasant. they were not over cute.

the provided shortbread and bottled water were a nice touch. the room was light and airy, with good size. dressing gowns were available in the room.
The bar closed a bit early. Though i understand it's a quiet location.
