Excellent Stay, Great Location
beautiful décor great location big breakfast selection
The staff was keen to help, assisting with every need. The rooms had beautiful décor and the hotel has a GREAT location. Breakfast offered a big selection of continental items with a cooked option, this worked out as good value.
The area in front of the building had a tent for a wine bar, it felt a bit noisy at night.

The hotel offers a lovely bar and restaurant with tasty food, it makes for a convenient dining experience. A courtyard served drinks and meals, giving guests a relaxing outdoor space. Breakfast was superb, served in an immaculate dining room.

historic charm and convenience!

I really loved the location. It was close to the train station and all the shops. my bags were taken to my room after i arrived early! breakfast was lovely with many cooked options. the building had an excellent historical atmosphere.

small room old grout
the location was quite central and convenient. it meant i could easily get around to see the sites.
The room was smaller than expected. it was also quite noisy at night. There seemed to be a lot of activity outside. plus, the bathroom grout looked old. It definitely needs some attention.

coffee machine tea options extra milk
i found the tassimo coffee machine and kettle with tea options quite useful. dressing gowns and slippers were available, a nice touch (i always forget my slippers!). the room was tidied before my second night, with extra milk delivered to the doorstep.
i noticed some noise from what seemed like an extractor fan.
