Decent Hotel, Some Issues

The breakfast service was a bit of a mess. I ordered a simple English breakfast. It arrived missing half the components. It took a while to flag someone down to correct it. the spa access policy is annoying.. Having to pay extra for a short dip after already paying for the room felt a bit cheap. I ended up skipping it altogether because of that.

the spa was quiet and i liked drinks being available. the staff there was helpful. the room was very clean and i really like the views from the window. the food i had was excellent.

the bar felt small given the hotel size. they had a wedding and it made the terrace very busy. i couldn't really relax with the wedding guests around. i have to book to use the bar.

This birthday escape was amazing! we had drinks and nibbles in the bar. the spa, a short walk away, had very informative staff. i enjoyed a cocktail at the outside bar after spending a lovely afternoon there. my husband ordered steak in the view restaurant. It was cooked beautifully.

The hotel and spa felt more compact than expected. The website gave a slightly different impression.
