mixed feelings about airport stay

cigarette odormissing items

My room smelled quite strongly of smoke. The bath towels even had that stale cigarette odor. i had ordered room service, and a couple of items were missing when it arrived. also, getting basic things sorted with the front desk took more effort than it should have. it was frustrating.

we stayed because we had a flight the next day out of the airport. all the staff were super friendly and helpful. the bed was really comfortable. i appreciate its attentiveness and kindness.

the airport shuttle only runs on the hour so we had to take an uber. it's not ideal for an airport hotel. more frequent airport shuttles would be very welcome.

the staff at the bar were good. it was a positive point.

The room was hot. The air conditioning did not work. a desk fan was the proposed solution, inadequate. the door lock was also faulty, requiring excessive force to open. This was frustrating and felt unsafe.
