Really good Stay, High Standards Maintained

exquisite furniturepersonalized serviceunwelcoming reception
The building displays beautiful gothic revival architecture. The room featured exquisite furniture pieces and felt very stylish. The restaurant provided delicious food, and the staff offered very personalized service. I also noticed generous rooms with great attention to detail.
I noticed a reception area that wasn't very cute for a four-star hotel. The area featured just a low down table in the corner of the lobby. The porch was covered in cobwebs, so I noticed dead flies. This needs attention.

The room was newly renovated and sparkling clean, offering a wonderful shower. I found the room to be generous in size and displaying great attention to detail. Stylish pieces of furniture enhanced the room's aesthetic.

The hotel is tucked away in parkland. It is very quiet. I found it to be a peaceful location despite its proximity to a main road. I appreciate this.
Facilities

historical spotbeautiful buildingkept groundsfood shortageextra costbuffet price
The building is fabulous, a historical spot! queen elizabeth and prince philip had stayed there, i learned. it was sympathetically restored. I loved the details translated from ceilings to carpets. the grounds are beautifully kept. Lawns and wild areas provide variety.
The food ran out quickly at the buffet. Not everyone had a chance to eat! i was told i would have to pay extra for more food. the so-called hot buffet cost £40 per person.

refreshing juicegood coffeedelicious granolaunanswered phonebad attitudeuntrained girl
the orange juice was refreshing. the coffee was good and plentiful. i began with a dainty dish of home-made granola with yogurt and fruit compote. it was delicious. the tables were well spaced and i loved the view of the gardens.
i phoned the hotel several times. the phone was never answered. when i finally arrived, a girl on reception was sitting next to the phone. she was ignoring it as it rang. the girl had a very bad attitude.
