I found the classic rooms quite small. The website showed different rooms than what i encountered. the bed was barely 1 meters wide, not sufficient for two people.

the staff were very helpful and friendly. asha on reception was particularly helpful. the setting was excellent and the parking was good.
i stayed during a new year's eve event and it reminded me of the hotel was cutting corners. there was a limited selection of white wine (we pre-ordered sauvignon blanc, but got a cheap french wine).

the staff were so polite. the room was lovely and the food was too. ayesha checked me in, and i had a wonderful conversation about the history of the building and grounds. she gave me advice about the local area.

The building is beautiful. i loved the bar located in the lobby. It had a great atmosphere. the staff were very kind, specifically aysha, she helped me plan my day nearby. it is a great base if you're looking to visit painshill park.
