A good base for explorations

I found the location quite convenient with only a short walk into the main areas. Staff welcomed me with drink tokens upon arrival. This was a nice touch. My room had views of the riverwith a calming backdrop for my stay. The free shuttle service into town was another great benefit, it saved me from long walks.
The hotel lack a restaurant for dinner.

The breakfast included a decent buffet. It gave a good start to the day, as I prepared for sightseeing. The breakfast staff were attentive and friendly. Although a restaurant is not present, a bar provides drinks and snacks.

I found the shuttle service into the city centre very convenient. It saved me the walk. The staff was very helpful, especially with directions. The breakfast offered many choices, something for everyone. I liked the complimentary drinks vouchers on arrival (a very cute gesture).
I noticed some grout was missing from the bathroom floor tiles. This is a maintenance issue that should be addressed.

The hotel has ample free parking spaces. This was VERY helpful. My room was comfortable and clean. The shower was efficient. The staff was pleasant. They offered helpful advice about local attractions.
My room lacked value for money. I expected more toiletries for the price. I noticed cobwebs in the corner of the room and a spider. This was not ideal. I had trouble switching off the audio description on the TV. It was ANNOYING.
