i was charmed by the hotel gardens, it had a serene environment. the staff was friendly, i appreciated the space. we ate all our food in the restaurant and the potions were very big, what value for money. it really was worth the trip.
i found the bedroom small, dark, and faced the front entrance. the bathroom lights were poor, and the shaving mirror was too high. the towel rail over the bath with the non slip mat was not easy to reach for a shorter person.

the room included a comfortable bed and fresh linens, i enjoyed the quiet atmosphere in there. the bathroom had soft towels and toiletries that add to the experience. the mini-fridge was stocked with drinks for purchase.

the hotel grounds have a wide area for walking and outdoor activities, it was great. parking was available without added cost, i appreciated that. the restaurant offered many seating options. the bar had many drink options.

The building has fine grounds. I found the park beautiful. Breakfast included a nice buffet and an à la carte selection.
I found no hot water in my room for two days. I complained twice at reception. Staff did not let me know about the ongoing issue. A partial credit would have been appropriate.

I loved the building and grounds. Deer, rabbits, and hares roamed the lawns. the staff was so helpful. the rooms were perfect. breakfast had cooked to order options and eggs royal with bright orange yolks!!!
I had to ask which drinks were non-alcoholic at the event. There should have been options available. the vegan meal was too salty and the vegetables were undercooked. it was hard to eat with the texture.

the grounds are beautiful and well worth a walk around. a kitchen garden grows produce that is used for dishes. exploring the park behind the building and the outbuildings makes the stay even more special.

the service was superb, with friendly staff. the front desk and restaurant staff had perfect manners. the reception team, restaurant staff, and bar staff deserve recognition for their credit.
