The room had a good tea and coffee selection. Bottled water was replaced daily. I found plenty of plug sockets very useful. The location allows walks across the road and some great places to visit nearby. The swimming pool provided a bonus.

The bathroom felt a little dated for my liking.

Staff were friendly and accommodating to any requests. Maisie at reception was helpful with suggestions of nearby attractions. Wendy helped choose a room in the main house including breakfast. The reception gave a warm welcome.

the location is beautiful with national park views. i enjoyed access to a swimming pool and found the water temperature perfect. the provided parking was convenient (it made things much easier). the staff was cute and helpful, especially when i needed assistance with directions.

The bed was huge and very comfortable. I also slept well because the pillows were good. The bathroom included a big shower over the bath, and it had nice pressure. The breakfast was great (especially the pancakes!).

The hotel showed a lack of attention to detail. For example, liquid stains marked the wall up the main stairs opposite reception. I think the owner should pay more attention to this.

the setting is in the beautiful new forest. the staff were helpful and friendly (especially at the bar). electric car charging points are on site, including high speed. the restaurant bar had nice staff for breakfast and meals.

the wifi was not working. there was poor mobile signal in the area (i appreciate the hotel is in the middle of nowhere). the room felt quite dated with tired bathroom tiles. the lighting was dim.
