lovely stay at this perfect building

helpful staff excellent breakfast five star food

the staff were attentive and helpful. the dining room is excellent with good breakfast. zac and his staff are really good in every way. food is five star here. i will recommend it to everyone.

the communal area felt very dated. the room was hot as the radiator was on. i struggled to open the old metal rusting windows.

special ambience friendly staff hearty breakfast beautiful garden

The dinner I enjoyed was excellent and it was a perfect recommendation from the server. The dining room had a special ambience. I relaxed in the beautiful garden and watched the sunset. It was lovely. The staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was hearty, a good start to my days.

I noticed some slight stains on the corridor carpets!

comfortable bed super clean bathroom great inclusive packages

i stayed in the executive double room it had a large comfortable bed the bathroom was super clean the room also had a great view i had breakfast in the tara restaurant it was really good it offered many choices i decided to have the full english breakfast i appreciated the friendly staff nothing was too much trouble for them i also had dinner there i chose the crispy duck salad and venison it was great value

the hallway carpet looked like it needed replacing

The Tara Restaurant offered amazing food for lunch and dinner. The restaurant and bar had a very nice atmosphere. Staff members were cute, helpful, and friendly during my entire stay.

Some furniture looked slightly worn.

Excellent Stay with Nice Dining

attentive staff excellent food really good service

Staff were attentive during our meals. They accommodated specific dietary needs. The restaurant offered excellent food, cooked perfectly. One staff member, Zak, provided really good service. He showed genuine care and knowledge.

The bathroom looked somewhat tired. The bath lacked a screen. Water easily splashed onto the floor after showering.

charmed by the attention to detail

surprise upgrade jacuzzi bath friendly staff

I spent a few nights at this country retreat and i must say the team excelled. i enjoyed a surprise upgrade to a roomwith a jacuzzi bath. It was wonderful. from the barman to the waiting staff, everyone was professional and friendly.

I noticed the building needs some tlc. the hall carpet looked damaged. I think it needs replacing. some brass taps weren't shiny too, though i guess they just need special polish.

spacious room lovely view dinner hot water peeling paint damaged carpet

My Executive Double Room was spacious. It also had a lovely view. I enjoyed dinner on the terrace one evening.

The water from the taps was hot. I also noticed peeling paint in the bathroom. Hall carpet needs replacing too.
