The location is central, very close to the shops and restaurants in the Orchard area. I particularly appreciated the historical nature of the building. The hotel offers ample parking for visitors with cars, that's a plus. I was also quite happy with the selection of local and international food at breakfast.
I found the shower and bathtub somewhat difficult to use.

The Beautiful Mayfair Room I stayed in was spacious and well kept. It included many drawers and wardrobes. The bed provided really good comfort..

manager thomas at the front desk was very helpful. he gave a tour of the complex and suggested places to eat. the staff quickly resolved any issues i had. i will consider returning here on my next visit (perhaps in the fall).
The gym could use a small upgrade. Some equipment showed minor wear.

the location is a quiet part of orchard road, offering nature views. orchard ion mall is nearby, so shopping is convenient (ideal for souvenirs). i used the mrt station in the mall to travel around the city.

my room featured excellent soundproofing, ensuring optimal sleep quality. it had large windows with full outdoor views. the room was clean (i always appreciate that!). i found the design elements to be out of the norm and green.
