A stay with mixed experiences
excellent architecture great shower nice balcony unreliable wifi small cockroach bathroom condition
The architecture of the building impressed me. The shower offered GREAT pressure. I also appreciated the nice balcony attached to the room.
The wifi was unreliable. It connected only briefly before failing to work again. It almost seemed deliberate. I found a small cockroach in the bathroom, TOO.

charming stay near the ferry
historical architecture spacious bathroom ample parking
The hotel's architecture gave a sense of its historical importance. the bathroom was spacious, though the shower head needed replacement which the staff fixed quickly. the staff was friendly and maintained the facilities well, i appreciated this. there was plenty of parking for my motorcycle. This was a great plus.
the wifi connection was inconsistent, it connected initially but stopped working shortly after. i suspected it might have been intentional, frustrating. this issue needs to be addressed for better guest experience.

the hotel's location is convenient for accessing the ferry terminal to africa, and this made travel arrangements simple. the hotel sits above the city and provides a safe environment away from the busy port area.

the breakfast buffet had good options. the restaurant offered a buffet with wine included. i enjoyed the atmosphere of the dining areas.

The outdoor swimming pool was clean and safe with a lifeguard on duty. Plenty of loungers are available . the hotel had large attractive gardens to walk or sit in with lots of patios and chairs. a mini grand piano sits in a beautiful atrium and salon.

the reception staff was pleasant and check-in was easy using the keycard system. the bar and reception staff were very friendly. the hotel provided pool towels upon request from reception.

Really good Stay in Historical Location
comfortable chairs good value buffet satisfying breakfast
The downstairs area impressed me greatly. it has a beautiful atrium and salon with comfortable chairs and tables. i also saw a mini grand piano within the space. the restaurant offered a good value buffet that included wine. the breakfast was quite satisfying. I found a nice selection available.

The hotel included an indoor pool, i believe. conference room facilities were available. the outdoor swimming pool looked lovely and clean with a lifeguard present. I also noted plenty of loungers.

my bedroom featured a balcony including a round table with two chairs. i had views overlooking one of the terraces, the port, and the sea beyond. the room also had two single beds with clean sheets.

the restaurant's buffet option included wine and a good array of choices. i did find the breakfast selection quite satisfying, with a variety of items available! though, i didn't get to try everything

clean pool many sunbeds grand interiors
The swimming pool was very clean and large and it had many sunbeds and umbrellas. The evening buffet was delicious and it gave me the chance to chat with other guests. I really enjoyed the spacious and grand interiors plus the lovely grounds outside.
The curtains did not block out all the light so I woke up early
