The parking was indeed easy and convenient! i found the room a lovely size and very cute. i particularly appreciated the outdoor area even if it lacked a bit of separation from other spaces! the staff stood out. Sally in the restaurant greeted us each morning with genuine warmth. She.
i noticed the exterior of the lodge seemed a bit rundown. the paint was peeling, and it gave an impression that could use some attention. inside the room was warm, but the bath panel had missing paint!

A River Runs Through It and This Place Rocks!

easy parkingdog-friendly arealovely roomexcellent staff
I found easy parking a plus! I could bring my dog. The room 17 was a nice size, a real treat. The outdoor area was so lovely I never wanted to leave. The staff are wonderful, especially Sally, she really looked after us. The food I had was great and reasonably priced. The location provides great opportunities for walks near the river. I saw many paths and areas for my dog to swim.
The bird poo on the outdoor tables was very unhygienic.
Location
10/10
The position by the river is awesome. It sits nicely back from the road. I saw the restaurant was popular with both locals and travelers, a great sign.
Rooms

The room I had was spacious! It also felt modern. I could find few complaints about the room itself. I think those rooms in the annexes are pretty generous.

Balanced Stay with Minor Issues

good size roomcomfortable bedgood pillowpoor optionlimited optionbreakfast gluten
The room was a good size. A comfortable bed and good pillows were provided. I found a nice selection of tea and coffee.
The gluten free breakfast option was poor (specifically for coeliacs). I found limited cereal or pastry options. I had to settle for bacon and egg with toasted gluten free bread both mornings.
