i stayed for two nights in a superior double room view. the room included nice touches such as home made ginger biscuits. the breakfast was great quality with a good selection and cracking views across the dales. i got a complimentary pass for the park, saving around £15.
the room felt too minimal.

the hotel includes access to the devonshire spa. i didn't get to experience it, but i know the spa has a large indoor pool. the spa also contains a sauna and steam room. it is a major benefit of staying here.
The hotel's location is great. I enjoyed lovely walks directly from the premises. The views from the hotel are beautiful. It was so nice to look out while I had breakfast. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The bathtub plug was a little clogged with some hairs, but it was easily fixed.
