i found the room gorgeous. it had a lovely view of the fields and everything was clean. i found the bed comfy, important after long walks.
The evening menu was limited. It felt more like pub food than fine dining.

Fantastic Stay with Views!!!

lovely walkbeautiful viewspacious roomhelpful staff
The hotel's location is great. I enjoyed lovely walks directly from the premises. The views from the hotel are beautiful. It was so nice to look out while I had breakfast. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The bathtub plug was a little clogged with some hairs, but it was easily fixed.
Dining
9/10
Breakfast choices included continental and cooked options, and the service was good. Dinner also offered good service with nice menus. A little more thought for vegetarian options at both meals would be GREAT.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel is undergoing refurbishment. The bar is already finished and looks fantastic. The hotel has amazing views of the countryside and overlooks the village. There is a complimentary pass for the park, saving around £15.
