the staff were friendly and helpful. our room was right at the front of the building (i think it was room 201!) with great views. the breakfast, served by anthony, was a great start to the day. john, the barman, was very friendly and knew a lot about the hall.

i found very few creative vegetarian meals offered. the menu felt old-fashioned. the vegetarian selection for the sunday carvery could be better (but the potatoes were still tasty!).

i appreciated the clean room and the comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep i found plenty of wardrobe space for my belongings also there were ample parking spaces available at the hotel

i noticed that some areas was slightly dated
