the room was quite clean and decently decorated, acceptable.

Upon arrival, i was given a smaller room than i booked. It was in a separate building, no less. this made carrying luggage a real treat. even worse, the carpet had a musty smell, quite unpleasant really.. it was not the experience i had hoped for.

i found the room smelled really musty. the floors were not clean at all, either. i did not feel comfortable in the room at all as the smell was so overpowering for me, it was unpleasant.

the four poster double room provided ample space. it had a large bed i found comfortable. tea and coffee making facilities was available along with a pod coffee machine. ample parking to the hotel rear. the food i ate was excellent.

The breakfast service presented an issue. I was charged a full adult price for my baby's porridge. This seemed excessive, even when I questioned the charge and was told that was their policy. I also found that upon arrival after 11pm, the entire place was closed and deserted. I eventually found a note directing me to an unlocked room.

The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and stylish. I noticed extra touches like hot chocolate and chocolate bars. IT really felt worth the money, especially given my extensive travel experience.

The staff could not do enough for us. They were always courteous and helpful. They helped with luggage from our bikes to our rooms. I felt VERY welcomed.
