The food quality stood out. Its presentation was also very good. The landscape around the grounds included shrubs flowers and trees. I noticed the views were excellent from many vantage points.
A wedding party was present . They were loud and I heard doors banging late into the night. The noise kept me awake longer than I wanted. I thought it was a bit much.

Acceptable stay overall

The grounds were well maintained. The bar food was good and the portions were a good size. I found the overall atmosphere in the hotel to be relaxing and quiet (which I appreciated after a long day of travel).
I was not told about the stairs to my room. The light switches were confusing. When I turned off the lights at night, the TV and electrical outlets also switched off. The hairdryer was awkward to use. The wire ran through the drawer.

The room was spacious and elegantly decorated. The bed was heavenly. The grounds are fine and well maintained. I appreciated the peace.
Reception staff were not very friendly. The room was quite far from the main hotel building. The walk was difficult (particularly due to mobility issues).
